Well, since god is just a myth, it doesn't matter anyway.

Jerome had a phone blast about a bomb treat at East High for Thursday & Friday. Bomb sniffing dogs will be present.

Anonymous said...

Yeah, but what about the separation of church and state.

Anonymous said...

I can remember a few years ago that the students that wanted to pray had to do it outside and I would see them in the morning by the tomcat. I'm not say that partnering with churches isn't good but a minister can't even do a prayer at games so how is this happening at the school? What makes them think that the churches that come will be of the domination that the children are and that parents will want them to mentor their children?

Anonymous said...

They don't have to do it outside, that is a day called "See you at the flagpole." It is a National day of prayer for public schools.

Anonymous said...

It wasn't just one day it was a couple of days.

Pushing religion in schools is illegal. But, of course, our leaders in District 131 have never worried about breaking the law.

Anonymous said...

Yup, because you took inviting clergy for a breakfast to the next level where they will now be indoctrinating the students. That is a very logical and reasonable step to take. Good work blog, exaggerate and lie some more.

Anonymous said...

Hey, hey, hey - Haven't we gotten off topic. Nobody has called Clayton a Racist in like 50 or 60 posts. Come on guys, you can do better.

Anonymous said...

Rudy, where did you find that. I had not heard about it yet.

Anonymous said...

Seems like alot of people are childish on this blog. If you don't like what is on the blog don't read it.

I would think that if Clergy wanted to mentor students they would do that at their church.

Well, this is something new!

D131 INVITES CLERGY TO SCHOOL

(Aurora)- East Aurora School District 131 is hosting the ‘Focus on Children’ Clergy’s Breakfast on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 8:30 a.m. at East Aurora High School.

The Clergy’s Breakfast is an opportunity for area clergy, school district officials, and students to dialogue about collaboration opportunities that will help our students to continue making choices for excellence. School Board President, Annette Johnson, and Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Jerome Roberts, will be available to answer questions and take suggestions.

The district’s partnership with Kids Hope USA will also be highlighted. Operated in some of the district’s elementary schools, Kids Hope USA is a national mentoring program that connects churches with schools for one-on-one mentoring. Representatives from Kids Hope USA will be on hand to give an update on the partnership.

The Clergy’s Breakfast is an event in a series of community relations initiatives aimed at strengthening connections and increasing involvement between the school district and the community.

During the first semester, East Aurora Schools hosted the Youth Service Providers Expo for Faculty and Staff, a Realtors’ Luncheon, and a ‘Principal for a Day’ program in collaboration with the Aurora Cares Corporation. Future events are planned with officials from local trade unions and higher education institutions.

All area clergy are invited to attend. Please RSVP to info@d131.org or 630.299.8343 by Wednesday, January 19,

Again if you don't like or agree with what is on this blog don't visit. At least on here you can see what others are saying behind your back. Don't forget to go to openlineblog also because they talk about the district over there.

Anonymous said...

Here's an example of what's being said on the Openline blog:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1/11 at 8:05 - get over it you fucking moron. Move on.
1/11/11 5:21 PM
Anonymous said...
5:21 p.m., I refuse to "move on" if it means PRETENDING that administrators made a personnel decision based upon what was best for our students. They did NOT.
I refuse to "get over" administrators giving the middle finger to hundreds of students, parents, and alumni. Those same administrators could very well do the same thing to another well-loved, community-supported teacher.
The three administrators I'm specifically referring to (who are still in D131, supposedly working for US) are:
Marin Gonzalez
Joe Harmon
Clayton Muhammad
Why should they be given a free pass to continue to be rewarded for their role in bullying one of our district's finest?
5:21 p.m., there will come a time when I will "move on": when no one who was responsible for that disastrous decision is collecting a paycheck from District 131.
1/11/11 7:09 PM
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Amazing how the "get over it" side spews profanities, while the "students' best interests" side makes reasoned, articulate comments.

:)

If you don't like it go to the Board meeting and complain. It is Tuesday.
But you won't because your a spineless jellyfish that likes to hide behind a computer.

As for Rudy you are letting these idiots on the blog anger you and you are looking like what people portray East Aurora Students as. Even through it is not true. Why don't you be the adult Rudy.

Anonymous said...

Hey I "found" "this" "on" "the" "other" "blog".

the

MINDBLOWING - I KNOW - I will give you all a minute to settle down, they we may begin this thought provoking conversation again.

Rudy is a typical East Aurora Student never in school and finds this blog more important than a education. Lot in live for Rudy dishwasher or janitor.

8:39 a.m., how is a smiley face lying? Some people just like to smile, just as you like to stick your tongue out.

And Rudy, shouldn't you be studying or practicing your trombone?

You really should have your mouth washed out with soap

Anonymous said...

Do you have a guess?

Anonymous said...

Yes, which is why you should have your mouth washed out with soap. This blog is bad enough without you putting up nonsense like that.

Anonymous said...

No guessing necessary--it's obvious...

.....It's 1:18 p.m.'s BRAIN.

Rudy, if you're as smart as you claim to be you should know that college admissions officers and potential employers have been known to Google names of people, to help evaluate their history and reputation.

One of your classmates (named Jakub) deleted his blog post after it was posted here. You might want to be careful what you say, if indeed you have any aspirations to higher education or professional achievement.

Anonymous said...

Rudy doesn't need college. He knows everything and feels he is smarter than everyone else in the world already.

In fact, employers are lined up to give him his 6 figure income once he graduates from this prestigious institution, East High.

The only problem Rudy has is deciding which one of the supermodels clamoring at his feet he is going to choose for tonight.

Anonymous said...

Sounds like a little bit of bullying on the part of some members of this blog. Rudy has the balls to stand up to you and all you can do is tear him down. Not very adult is it? He is also the only one with the balls to put in his name and not "anonymous." I am sure he doesn't need me to defend him -- just not sure if the rest of you are bright enough to realize you are doing exactly what you accuse others of on this blog -- serial bullying. Let's all grow up a little and start LISTENING to each other.

Anonymous said...

What has happened at East High all the students are being released.

Anonymous said...

Since the students know everything, they have cancelled classes for the rest of the year.

Anonymous said...

Its the last day of finals dumbasses. Look at the schedule on the district site! There are some stupid people on this blog.

Anonymous said...

Maybe some of us don't have kids in school and just was wondering and I don't have to call people names to reply to something.

Wasn't there a bomb scare and this district said that bomb sniffing dogs would be in the building Thursday and Friday? Maybe some of us wondered because we don't want the kids to get hurt.

If their finals are done by 10:00 Am, shouldn't they have to go back to class for the afternoon? The school day is supposed to be until 2:30 or 3:00.

With all the trouble in the neighborhood lately, we are just going to have 3000 kids wandering the streets with nothing to do???

I wonder who decided that this was a good plan?

Anonymous said...

Another thing you guys are complaining about. This blog is pathetic.

Anonymous said...

Rudy, I'm not the least bit upset. I'm just giving you a bit of advice about how the world works, from the perspective of someone in the business community. The job market is very competitive, and your online reputation can make or break your chances of being hired over another candidate.

Just a word for the wise--take it or leave it!

:)

The semester is over, finals are over. This is the same schedule that has happened for finals for at least 10 years and probably closer to 20 or 30.

Well if you put quotes around your name "Rudy Reza" then there are only 1730 hits - With that the 5th page, 1st hit is this stupid blog.

Anonymous said...

I Googled:

"Rudy Reza" Aurora

...and got 133 hits. Among the first 10 were three different threads on this blog.

Don't think that employers and college admissions offices aren't smart enough to do an online search for your name and city. Or maybe you're just too arrogant & clueless to care about your reputation--in that case, keep doing what you've been doing and enjoy a lifetime of minimum-wage jobs.

Anonymous said...

I think employers MIGHT do a search - College is not. You are stupid for even suggesting it.

8:26 p.m., how is advising a young person to be careful about their online reputation "bullying"?

If anything, it's an act of kindness! Rudy's parents should be the ones telling him to be careful how he presents himself on line, but since they're dropping the ball, those of us who have raised kids successfully are stepping in and speaking up.

You're welcome, Rudy!

I feel sorry for your parents. Shame on you.

Regarding earlier posts about searches at school. I cant speak if they're legal (I would think they are since it has been done previously in other districts). But I would use a line from the TSA administration when defending the new airline screenings. We'll have one plane (in this case, school) where people are screened, and one plane (school) where people aren't. Then you pick which plane (school) you want to get in.
