Just a "heads up" and FYI

I am considering handing the blog over to another person.
I have not been able to be a part of discussion or post as
I had hoped when I initiated this chat forum.
If unable to complete the transfer I will be suspending the chat,
temporarily, within the next week.

Perfect - Great idea, suspend chat and get rid of this garbage.

Off to the clergy breakfast this morning to pray for the district

Anonymous said...

Even if chat on this blog is suspended, the past several years of discussion threads will still be available for all to see.

Specifically, the "good, bad, and ugly" about our district will be there, at the click of a mouse.

Some may not like it, but oh well!

Anonymous said...

Oh yes, this blog is a wealth of information.

Anonymous said...

Wow!!! Rayanne is quitting. What a surprise.

Maybe she can keep Jay Cutler company.

7:58 a.m., you're absolutely correct!

Here's a list of just a few things I've found out by reading this blog:

--Our district paid over $11,000.00 for one hotel bill

--Juanita Wells accused the kids of purposely mangling the National Anthem

--The EHS band had a fundraising event at Buona Beef

--Lynne Nadel was retiring (yes, the Beacon covered this--but at least 2 weeks after this blog)

--Kevin Kaisershot won a national competition to compose the "Teachers March" (again, this blog "scooped" the Beacon)

--A plaque was displayed in the EHS lobby falsely claiming that the band had received a Division I at organization contest

--The EHS Jazz Band received a Division I at the UIC Jazz Festival

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I could go on (as could others), but just wanted to give a few specific examples--maybe others can add their own?
And 7:06 a.m., I'll be praying too. Lord knows we need it!
:)
Wow, most of it about band, I wonder who you could contact to get information about band. Hmmmmmmmm
So amongst 5 years of this blog, that is what you have learned?
Anonymous said...
There are many ways to get information. Local papers, Facebook, Google, blogs, etc. Most of us get our news from all these sources (and others,too).
And besides band info, other stuff has been revealed here. For example, a parent mentioned Clayton Muhammad's drill team (pre-Boys II Men) performing at Dieterich School encouraging our young men to be heroes "like Farrakhan".
I think it was also this blog that started referring to Radakovich as the "Serial Bully"--or maybe it was Openline?
Anonymous said...
This blog is useless anyways!!!!!! Get rid of this!!!!!!!
Anonymous said...
It was openline - It is a postive thing to insult people?
I don't know what my life would be like if we didn't call Dr. Radakovich "Serial Bully." Thanks
The Bigelow land deal was discussed here first.
The Walmart deal that lost the district two and a half million dollars.
Boys II Men being an illegal fraternity was first discussed here. As was Clayton using district time and resources to promote the group.
Administrator salaries that were much higher than the surrounding area was revealed here.
Scheduling problems and class overcrowding was discussed here, weeks before it was in the Beacon.
Everyone now knows how poorly run Simmons is (and about Wilson's donut runs with the secretary).
We've received more information about Mr. Green here than from any official source. (His next hearing is scheduled for February, we'll see how much longer the district can delay the hearing) We also know the district paid out more than $25,000 plus huge legal fees to settle Mr. Green's discrimination lawsuit against the district.
I found out Rudy was GAY (although I had suspicions for years)
I found out that Clayton is not certified or qualified to do anything in education but the powers that be kiss his rear because he is Ponquinette's godson.
We find out about administrators salary increases months before the district gets around to updating the district web site. The one that is required by law to reflect the administrators current salaries.
We found out about the the principal at Dietrict who was changing ISAT scores to make her school look better. Again, long befor the Beacon reported it.
While there have been a few mistakes or exagerated reporting, there has been a lot of truth that has been revealed here.
Went to Clergy Breakfast today. As it turns out the organization Kids Hope makes every parent sign a release and everyone who mentors goes through background checks. The Kids hope and church also signs a agreement with the school not to bring up religion. The are servicing about 3300 schools across the county and never a complaint.
Anonymous said...
Wow, got a real answer from somebody who knew something. No more speculation.
I love how you put "everyone knows" because "everyone" reads this blog. You think a lot of yourself don't you.
Anonymous said...
11:26 says:
This blog is useless anyways!!!!!! Get rid of this!!!!!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Why? Because YOU say so? I don't think so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:)

Anonymous said...

How do you invite the children to your church without bringing up religion???

Anonymous said...

As a believer in Christ I can't believe that at some point the mentors wouldn't say anything about religion it is in their nature to do so. You might have to sign something but as a believer I want to share this with people and sometimes things just come out. I would have no problem mentoring children from the church but I know sometime I would slip and say something about my Church and maybe they should attend because I'm so proud of it.

I read about Kids Hope and it has some good rules but a true Believer in Christ will slip sometime because we want all to share in our love of him.

Wow, the BS is getting deep in here

I'm assumming 11:44 has known me for "several years".

PARANOIA EVERYWHERE (It's not like i'm hiding it though lol)

6:11,
So according to you it is very difficult for proud followers of Jesus Christ to not let something "slip out". If that is the case then I say we ban such events in the future as it risks undermining the first amendment.

There was an article on the ABC world news web site today about the University of Connecticut athletic programs. Apparently the college's largest donor (7 million dollars in recent years) is pulling all of his support for the college and it's sports programs. He sighted the poor management at the college and complete incompetence of their athletic director.

That is the college that just accepted Boatright when other colleges rejected him because of his poor academics and behavior???

Anonymous said...

Rudy, you're not hiding the fact that you are GAY??? Then why did you pull your post announcing your sexual orientation just a couple of hours after posting it???

Rudy Reza said...

As if I would come out on a blog full of the collective anonymous. I've been open for a while now. I've deleted all but the most recent comments (all the way back to when I first posted) as a means to distance myself from this blog. Not really a whole lot of discourse that goes on here anyway.

Anonymous said...

Why are you so involved in Rudy's life - get your own.

Anonymous said...

You first, 6:14 a.m.

Anonymous said...

11:55, looks like Ryan Boatwright and UConn are made for each other!

Right now, Boatwright's a big fish in a small pond. Next year he may be in for a rude awakening...

Anonymous said...

I'm not involved in Rudy's life.

Nice job at making no sense.

You are the one pondering why he removes posts.

Anonymous said...

UCONN has one of the best basketball programs in the country!!! The reason the donor was mad was because of their decision of the football coach. The men's and women's basketball program are outstanding. Stop trying to bring down Boatright. He is a great player if you like it or not.

Anonymous said...

If Rudy is gay who cares it is not up to you to judge him. This blog was all about the School district now you are attacking students. Who cares about Ryan Boatright he is a kid. If this blog can't return to the school issues get rid of it

Anonymous said...

Ryan Boatright is a young man with excellent basketball skills.

Unfortunately, he is also a young man who is developing a reputation for making commitments and backing out. UConn is the THIRD school Boatright has committed to--let's see whether he actually shows up next fall and plays basketball.

Anonymous said...

8:28, no I am not pondering why Rudy removes his posts! I am the one who SUGGESTED that he (and any other young people who post using real identities) be aware that their online reputation may be at stake.

Prospective employers routinely do Google searches on applicants' names, narrowing the search by including their hometown, school, etc.

Deleting his posts was a smart thing for Rudy to do.

:)

Anonymous said...

Ryan Boatright is a young man with good basketball skills with a reputation for being completely unreliable and uncontrollable. He has extremely poor academics and behavior. If he couldn't dribble a basketball, he would have been kicked out of school long ago.

He has failled himself and this district has failed him by moving him from grade to grade when he is completely unprepared for the world.

I do hope he can make something out of his life with basketball because if he doesn't, he'll be walking the streets (or more likely in prison)and you and I will be paying his way through life.

Anonymous said...

Only people that really knew Rudy at first would know he was gay and I don't think many of his friends post on here so again someone in the school would only know about it and what a shame that maybe a teacher or administrator who post on here anonymous would say that.

Went to B2M awards what a great event East Aurora kids won the majority of awards. I can see this program is alive and well in the schools again

Anonymous said...

B2M is indeed a great program.

Whether it belongs in the schools is another matter.

Anonymous said...

Some people think snorting cocaine is great also, but just like Boys II Men, it's illegal.

Anonymous said...

The Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts are good for kids, and legal.

But they're not in the schools.

Big difference!

Anonymous said...

Yeah, the boy scouts just discriminate based on Sexual Prefrence, gender, and religion.

Yeah, that's good for kids.

Anonymous said...

Right, while Boys II Men only disciminates based on gender and skin color.

Anonymous said...

But they DON'T discriminate against skin color, because there are white, black and hispanic students involved. Just because a community is mostly hispanic and black (which means the group is mostly hispanic and black) does not equal discrimination.

Yes I know the logo has a Black "I" and a Brown "I" - which means that at one point the group was targeting black and hispanic young men but then decided that there were more at risk then just them.

Anonymous said...

There are a equal amount of black students involved in B2M as Hispanic's. They also had about 15 white members get your facts straight is was attended by Dr Rydland and his staff. Dr Roberts and the Board President attended but it was hardly a East Aurora event. No other East Aurora staff other than a teacher from Bardwell attended.

My point is if it illegal why are the other school districts involved.
Oswego,Marmion, Oswego and District 204 all had students involved

Anonymous said...

Here's how the Beacon-News describes BoysIIMen, in an article published today:

"Boys II Men is a leadership group for minority youth"

It's not for just any young man who has an interest in joining. It's specifically for MINORITY youth.

Discriminatory, much?

Anonymous said...

Clayton for years claimed it was ONLY for Blacks and Hispanics. Only after getting called out on the carpet did he change the ONLY to PRIMARILY.

Now they have their few token white kids and claim they are open to all.

It's kind of like watching a republican convention on television. There are five minority republicans at the whole convention and they show them dozens of times to claim they all inclusive.

Anonymous said...

Yup, you are always right. Everybody is racist.

Anonymous said...

No, not everybody, just a few people in this district, especially Clayton.

8:26 a.m., this blog is not getting "shut down". The chat may be suspended--but everything posted would still be available to be read.

If you weren't an ignorant moron, you might be able to figure that out for yourself.

:)

Anonymous said...

Ooooo, the illusive :) poster. Always something stupid to say.

Anonymous said...

Gee, 1:46 p.m., bipolar much?

Take your meds and go lie down.

I feel sorry for anyone who has to live with you. I would respond with your limited & obscene vocabulary, but I have more class than that.

And 1:44 p.m., nice picture of your brain (enlarged, of course).

;)

Anonymous said...

You seem... upset.

Anonymous said...

Probably a bully administrator.

With a teeny-tiny.....brain.

Who wants to show off the fact that they figured out how to make smiley faces.

;)

Anonymous said...

Or maybe not an administrator--but someone who's been pampered, babied, & defended by administration over the past several years.

;)

Anonymous said...

Hopefully someone will take over the blog because shutting it down will just make someone who keeps posting to shut it down happy. Hopefully Rayanne can find one or two people to keep it up. I would think that some would rather read what people are saying instead of talking behind their backs.

Anonymous said...

Rayanne might as well shut off future comment, because nothing really new has been said for a very long time. The same people keep posting the same feces no matter what the post is about. Rayanne keeps trying to get some positive commentary going, but the same negative people want to keep tearing down and hurting the students of d131. They pretend to be mad at administrators, but in truth their comments are hurtful to the students. Anything good is twisted around to satisfy their own sick desire to lash out. And no, I'm not now and never have been an employee of the district. I'm an EA resident who's put 3 kids thru the EA schools, and were all band kids, and are all doing very successfully (2 college grads [1 of which is now in med school] &1 now in college).

Anonymous said...

Oh, this is 6:31 again. I thought I should add if you think I'm one of the people above who have been throwing around obscenities and showing their stupidity, nope. This is my first comment on this post. And I very seldom comment, because I only check this blog out every few weeks or so, and every time it's the same old crap.

Anonymous said...

How is this not talking about people behind their backs?

We are not talking face to face. Nobody knows who is accusing who of what.

This is the very definition of talking behind peoples backs.

Anonymous said...

I do notice how some comment about people commenting Anonymously and say what is said is not right but they don't use their names either. If you go to board meetings you can tell the board president doesn't like anyone saying anything bad about the district and will cut some board members down in a minute if they don't agree with her of the super. I think sometimes she is the one saying the bad things and while she says people post anonymously so does she and I believe the secretary does also. As long as no one is commenting on their family members it is ok but when someone says something about theirs they cry foul. For the ones that state what is said on here isn't true why don't you post under your name?

Anonymous said...

Thanks for rambling on and on about nothing.

I do believe that you suck at the English language.
