* A short PTA business meeting will be held from 6:30 to 6:50 PM to for paid members of East High PTA to vote on some money items.
I've heard that the committee meetings take notes of their meetings which are required by the open meetings act and they go into the school packets. I also believe that the school packets should be available to the public under the FOIA and sone district provide them. Does this district make it easy to see them? I heard that it was mentioned at one board meeting if citizens went to the committee meetings they could see what the board was voting on in the agenda but we are all working people and maybe we are not able to get to them. Is it in the plans for the future to have the board packets, without the closed sessions information, be available on the website for the public. It would be nice to see when a donation of some things be broken down instead of just voted on to see what they are really are. Maybe there are people out there that would see what is donated and groups could get together to donate to the school distric.
