Arroyo, Laesch and Darby....good choices for action!
Clarification: Lewis works in management, the shop is union. She is not.
Get out and vote! Take a neighbor, friend or family member. Show the district you care by casting a vote.
Whether it be those I have mentioned or someone else, ballots cast let our elected officials know how many people care enough to have a voice in what they do.

School board meeting tomorrow night. Lots on the agenda. Im sure everybody on the current board with the exception on Johnson will rubber stamp everything.

At least students did not die in the streets with Dr Roberts and Johnson. many great things happened in our District and I will vote for Arroyo based on that.

Wasted Day said...

To 131 Teacher:

I hope you did enjoy Friday because you will find when you try to enter your credits with the state, you won't be able to.

The state does not consider "Wellnes Day" as professional development. It won't fit into any of the states categories.

Perhaps the district should have considered this before they forced all the teachers to stay in the district, when they should be going to real workshops throughout the county as intended.

It seems that now that Johnson isn't the board president she doesn't vote with the others but when the same things where coming up when she was on the board she sure voted for them.

Hey dummy,

You shouldn't be a teacher if you can't figure out that you put "workshop " or "presentation" in the activity area.

And if this is the only professional development that you do all year, you also shouldn't be a teacher. There are great opportunities in the district for professional development!

There was a student that got killed when Johnson and Roberts where together the student was killed on Jackson street. The students that have been hurt or killed have nothing to do with the district and to think anyone on the board or the Superintendent can stop it is crazy.

Tomcat8 you seem to forget our soccer player that was killed by one of our students around 2008-2009 during Christmas Vacation. Gunned down on the streets of Douglas in Oswego.

Supports Johnson said...

Johnson votes no because they are voting on no bid contracts. She would not have needed to vote no when she was BP because they would have not allowed this.

Like Johnson or not the biggest changes took place when we had a better Board. They also never with held emails that could have been embarrassing. The credit card misspending was made public and the insurance changes also happened. Say what you will these are changes that took years to happen. They are also issues that plagued the district for twenty years long before Johnson was on the board. I don't critiize because I would never have taken the CRAP she took for no credit and a unfairly damaged reputation by the Aurora Beacon News

Gang Violance will never get stopped 100% but at least a culturally competent staff could help. I worked at the Urban League for two years in that time many students and parents came together to their sons daughters out of Gangs. It was arranged that these students needed to leave town during the critical transitition months. WE HAD a Spanish speaking Social Worker that did home visits.
The Family changes lives not the school but because of this countless lives did have sucess.

Today less than twenty kids attend the District program at Quad compared to the 140 plus students. they do not get home visits or parent support groups . They also do not employ a Spanish speaking Social Worker only a Spanish Parent Liason. No better than a secretary..

Tomcat 2-
Lewis works in management at a Union Shop. True. Ask that union about her and you will get nothing but good comments. She works with the union to make sure their contract is not violated and they are treated fair. Not like the current board. One does not have to be a card carrying member to work with unions.

Whom did she stab in the back? It seemed like Rayanne and this blog were the only ones doing backstabbing.

Don't fall for the lies administration is telling us at EAHS. Let's stand up for ourselves. They made promises in December and never followed. LIES! LIES AND MORE LIES.

Our Union said...

Our Union is in bed with the Administration. Our Rep went to Administration and told them we are speaking out for the safety of students. We have been intimidated not to speak up today. That is the world we live in.

Say what you will about the Roberts administration we have never had our freedom of speech violated. We did have of speech violated with Radocivich, I can not see the difference between the two and their names are both Mike.

Bullied said...

Our Union has NO confidentiality and we are now told don't speak up for security at EAHS . Some of us non tenured teachers have been called out today on a witch hunt. Basically told we will be viewed as trouble makers.

I read a few talking about Johnson, but during her tenure on the BOE we had committees and management listened to some ideas. Now we are told white teachers can't teach by Ray Hull.

The Board and Popp are to blame for the recent Gand activity we need a return to ZERO tolerance.

The credit card was made public but that was because of The Beacon article. The misused money by Administration was never paid back that is taxpayer money and that money should be paid back. Johnson was told many times about the insurance before the district did something and those that owed money had to pay it back but those that used the credit cards for non district purchased on he watch weren't. This isn't someones private business this is a public school district and no one person on the board can make a decision without the others. There have been many board members that have taken crap if she can't stand the heat get out of the fire.

It now looks like the Board from Hell will now try to pass a referendum just like West Aurora. Wow, what else after Feltis mismanaged millions.
