Welcome to our new superintendent!

Our new superintendent will be Mr. Jesse J. Rodriguez. He was born in Puerto Rico and has been working as an administrator in the Milwaukee Public Schools for the past several years.

Quoting from a comment on the previous thread: "We are diverse in culture and background but unified in our desire to make our district the best it can be"

Welcome, Mr. Rodriguez!

Finally, someone exposes the President. Great Job Ralph Padron! AJ exposed for her waste of taxpayer's money. And she continues to waste money, peoples lives and an education for the kids.

It's not about the children. It's about Annette.

High priced Consultants to help her run the district. It's not working, She blames the new hires that she brought in to replace the new hires that she brought in to replace the......... It's not working.

The superintendent is supposed to run the district. Which superintendent? One left early, one quit before he started. And no word on the next one.

She needs to quit or voted out.

First....why would anyone make a threat against the school board? A few on the board put themselves on pedestals, thinking they are important. In reality, most people don't even know who the school board are or what they do. Except when they appear in the Beacon for not making choices for excellence.

Secondly, One family, now, knows who the school board is and I am happy to see the school board finally made a decision that truly put a child first, when deciding not to expel this boy for one poor choice.

Obviously, this district should realize poor choices are made even by adults...over and over. But people aren't 'expelled' or removed from their position......well I guess they are...sometimes. It is not really due to THEIR bad choices, but sometimes people have to accept the fact someone has to be made a scapegoat for others. Afterall, you can't fire board members for their poor choices. And the Board won't fire the supt. So I guess that is what is meant by trickle down. If you are not the bird at the top of the tree, the stuff has a tendency to fall on others now and then.
Well, I am glad this young man didn't get any of that stuff on him and in a uncharacteristic move of Boards of the past, this one made a good choice regarding this student.

Annette johnson has taken the blame for many issues that have not been addressed for many years.

She took them head on and should be thanked.

THANK YOU ANNETTE you probably have not heard that enough.
