5. Offers ongoing support and delivers trainings on assessment and student data
6. Maintains knowledge of current research and best practices in the area of assessments
7. Supervises the administration of district administered assessments
8. Maintains and distributes district assessment calendar
9. Analyzes state and local data to make recommendations regarding curriculum modifications, the improvement of classroom instructional practices, alternative programs and the use of interventions
10. Assists the curriculum team in the evaluation of instructional resources/materials
11. Attends and Participates in the following: School Board Meetings, Superintendent's cabinet meetings, District Improvement Planning Meetings, Curriculum Instruction and Assessment Committee, Joint Principal Meetings, Elementary and Secondary Principal Meetings
12. Collaborates with the Director of Special Education regarding Response to Intervention (RTI) plan
13. Creates and distributes reports on the academic achievement of district students
14. Compiles and maintains data on various programs and specified populations, as requested
15. Oversees student data uploads in the student information system, computer based interventions and curriculum programs
16. Offers ongoing support, models, and delivers training on the interpretation and use of assessment data via data retreats
17. Actively participates in developing and offering a variety of staff development opportunities to share current research, best practices, and assessment information with individuals and groups within the district (School Improvement Teams, staff, administrators, board, parents and community)
18. Collects and manages all required ELL assessments PreK-12 in conjunction with Bilingual Director
19. Analyzes data with teachers for the purpose of informing instruction and determining appropriate interventions or using additional diagnostic assessment for "at risk" students
20. Performs all other duties assigned by the Assistant Superintendent for Educational Services
It isn't Johnsons job to clean up the district it is the Superintendents job. I wonder what the State would think if a board president was doing this and if it is legal. If a whole board and not just the President thinks a Superintendent isn't doing their job they should hire a new one. Can anyone show where in the IL School Code it says a board president has the authority to do this?
Another six figure salary could pay for three new teachers. Get rid of Nestor and you have three more teachers. These positions are unnecessary. Give me a break with the camp BS. Individual coaches set that up. Nestor doesn't do squat. He'll take credit though. Six teachers will cut down on class sizes. It's a start anyway. Please stop throwing money out the window and do something for the kids. Vega family you should be mad at Annette, but I'll bet you didn't vote for the board in April. Community members either don't know what's going on, don't care, or think their votes don't matter. Now you're stuck with the no hand shaking, racial slur yelling, useless job creating, trans gender issue ignoring, credit card scandal missing, B&G financial fiasco failing, Nestor and Roberts loving, corrupt, mismanaging liar.

I have no idea how those 3 goofs at Simmons keep their jobs! The level of incompetency has reached a new low. What is keeping these people there? They must have something on the district that the district is afraid of, or worse yet the district just doesn't care.
How come Johnson didn't make the administrators that misused the districts money pay it back? She is breaking the law by doing this the board is suppose to have a Superintendent doing that job.
