And what a year it was! A record-breaking blizzard in February, extreme heat in July and August, and a mild December (so far, anyway)! Our district also "weathered" a wide variety of experiences this year, both positive and negative.
What were the highlights of 2011 in District 131? And what can we look forward to in the coming year?

DIST #131 (AURORA EAST)
Status: Has Not Reported
Out of the Paper even thought activities got canceled are wonderful PR department of 4 could not get the word out to the papers
5:06 p.m., I got an automated call from Dr. Roberts' office around 1:15 p.m., saying that school would be dismissed at the regular time and that all after-school activities had been cancelled.
Whats going on in the curriculum office???? 3 new people have been hired but never seen in the buildings except for after school trainings. WHAT DO THEY DO ALL DAY???? Where is the wonderful Denean Adams who is being groomed for Superinendent? What a joke. If that happens, the state will take over without a doubt.
All lies do these people not have names
Saw this on CBS News and it sounds just like our district. How long are the residents and School Board turn their heads to reckless spending.

The only difference between the CBS report of Licolnwood and the East Aurora School District is the community.
If we had concerned citizens who wanted to do a little investigating, there would be a lot of dirt that would be exposed.
I guess we have nothing to worry about then. This community is lazy and stupid.
I feel the community is not stupid but rather they have (misplaced)faith in their elected representatives which allows them to remain uninformed about the true facts.
