Actually 7:03 if they had been documenting the other things all along like they should have, they wouldn't have needed to try to use this "incident". Kind of a double failure (possibly triple failure). Assuming for a moment that Green was incompetent (which may or may not be true), failure 1 was not documenting that fact as soon is it was discovered, and making sure everything that showed that was recorded. (I won't say that hiring him was failure 1, because to be fair sometimes you just don't know until they come on board). Then failure 2 was picking such a weak incident, w/o adequate circumstances, to fire him. That 3rd possible failure was Green's, if in fact he is incompetent as some have said.
Let me start out by saying I am not a supporter of this blog nor do I believe in writing just to bash someone, for the people who are always being bashed that is not correct either. Whether someone agrees or not stated it once or try to make a difference, at least the people who get bashed are trying to make a difference.
That said, I have worked with Bob Green and he is a horrible teacher. He gives tenure a bad name, because he should have been fired years ago. I do believe the district just keeps trying to keep him away from kids. In the past I heard rumor that they attempted to pay him to go away and he did not take it. He violates the law so he knows just how hard to push. It is a sad day that he needs to be returned again to the class room. One can only hope he does not do anything to injure a child

Great news staff ITS TRUE Marin is looking for a job this was posted online. A special thanks to Dr Roberts and the Board of Education for making this happen soon we will be rid of her at the middle schools and Simmons will not suck anymore.

Don't get excited. What makes you think anyone else wants her? She has taken credit for many "initiatives" that were others peoples work, she just added her name to completed projects.
Well, she might have APPLIED for a superintendent position in Broward County, but she wasn't hired. They have an interim superintendent in place for this school year, and are not publicizing an opening. So it looks like we're stuck with her for the time being.
Maybe one reason she wasn't hired is because there are at least two mistakes in her resume:
"Balanced Literary approach for six through eight grades"--should be "sixth through eighth grades" (or, alternately, "grades six through eight")
"YWCA Women of Distinguished Award"--should be "Women of Distinction Award"

With at least two glaring errors in a 3-page resume, I shudder to think what her dissertation looked like!
Sorry to say, but even if Marin leaves, Simmons still has the same administration. So there will be no improvement until the current administration moves on to somewhere else. I doubt that will happen because they have a pretty sweet deal running a school with their incompetency. Central office won't fire them so little will change.
Marin got demoted she told friends in the district if she does not find a job she needs to return to the class room. Lets hope she finds a job.
You know, it's quite possible that all you Marin haters that have been blasting her on this blog have insured she will NEVER leave. Because any potential employer (like Broward) will do a google search, and probably come up w/ some of these posts. Good job in making sure we have her in d131 until she retires.

I haven't seen any coverage of the recent decision on Robert Green in any other local media. There were several articles in the Beacon-News and Tribune about Mr. Green when the situation started several years ago--but absolutely nothing telling this community about the state's ruling which will end up costing taxpayers HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS.
Those of us who have lived in Aurora for awhile have noticed that the Beacon has gone out of its way since about 2005 to avoid printing anything negative about D131. 2005 was about the time that Beacon editor John Russell got a sweetheart deal on the sale of his house. Coincidence?
I have done goggle searches on people of the district and have never seen anything that was posted on this blog about them in the search I did how ever find things from The Beacon and Openline.blog. The district can get rid of Marin by doing their job if they think she isn't doing a good enough job and that is firing her. I don't think people don't want to run for the board because of what is posted on here and worse has been said about other elected positions people take. I don't think most that run for the board realize that this is an elected position and taxpayers will get vocal about it.
I love that you think it is only the beacon that soes not follow up with the rest of the news. That is a characteristic of ALL news. They hardly ever followvup with a story. News media sucks.
7:53 a.m., I just Googled "Serial Bully Radakovich" and got more than a hundred hits--from Openline Blog, Beacon Blog, this blog, and other sources.
If certain administrators (past and present) are bothered by what is said about them online, then they should think twice about treating people like crap.
If my work situation changes and I have the time to do the job right, I might run for the school board. And this blog wouldn't stop me at all. But once I was elected, I'd stop visiting this blog and would just ignore it. I'd have an e-mail address specifically for my school board stuff, and would carefully read and consider ALL input I received from the public, as long as the person identified themselves. If they asked for anonymity, I'd keep their confidence, but I would just assume that if someone wasn't willing to identify themselves to me, that they didn't have faith in what they were telling me. All anonymous posts should be taken w/ a 5 pound bag of salt.
